Fireplace-remotes.com does not collect sales tax for orders shipped outside of North Carolina. Product delivered to customers within North Carolina will be charged state sales tax of 7%.

For orders using a check or money order as payment, orders do not ship until the payment has been received and processed. Most payments clear within 6-10 business days from the day the payment is received. For orders paid with a money order or certified funds, shipment will be made upon receipt of these funds. For returned checks, the maximum fee allowed by North Carolina law will be accessed.
The Avanti remotes are warranted for one year against manufacturing defects. Please note the policy as stated in the manufacturers installation brochure. Fireplace-remotes.com will repair or replace any part of the Avanti system that is found to be defective at no charge during this warranty period (batteries are excluded from this warranty). When returning product, always enter the return authorization form number for proper processing. Merchandise that is returned without this authorization form will be refused. Any arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the current rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any arbitrator’s award will be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. No arbitration under this agreement shall be joined to any other arbitration agreement involving any parties subject to this agreement through class arbitration or other means.

Fireplace-remotes.com ships via Fed Ex ground, UPS and USPS. Shipping & handling rates for normal ground delivery are $6.95 per remote system with an additional $1.50 for each additional remote system. At this time, we ship in the continental USA.
We do everything possible to make sure that your product arrives undamaged and you are pleased with your purchase. Please be aware that it is your responsibility to inspect the goods upon delivery for any shipping damage. Please follow these guidelines when inspecting your package:
For items shipped via Fed Ex, UPS or USPS, you must notify us within three (3) days of the delivery. If we are not notified within this time frame, the product becomes your responsibility.
Take a few minutes to examine the product upon delivery and note any damage on the delivery receipt. In the event that the product is visually damaged upon delivery, refuse delivery and contact us immediately. Remember that when you sign a delivery ticket without noting damage, the merchandise is your responsibility.
In the event you would like to return your merchandise, please follow the guidelines listed below.
Any item that you feel is defective must be returned complete and in its original packaging within 30 days of receipt of the merchandise. Before returning any material, please fill out the Return Goods form for proper handling. Merchandise returned without the Returned Goods form will not be accepted. Merchandise must be returned prepaid by the customer. After evaluation by our staff, if the merchandise is determined to be defective, we will replace the product and return it to the customer at our expense.
If no error was made on our part, you must contact the company for a Returned Goods Form. We will, at our discretion, issue the RMA. Merchandise returned via this method, after our inspection will be accepted and charged a 20% restocking fee. This returned merchandise must be returned to us prepaid, in the original packaging, unused and undamaged.
